Delete Your Account
You can delete your BrightMind account and all associated data at any time. The fastest way is from inside the app. If you have already uninstalled it, you can request deletion by email.
Delete in the app
This is the recommended path. It removes your account and all data right away.
- Open the BrightMind app.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Account.
- Tap Delete account and data.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are deleted.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have BrightMind installed, email us and we will delete your account and data for you.
stan@brightmind.club with the subject Account and data deletion request. To help us locate your account, please send your message from the email address you used in the app, if any, and include any details you remember (for example, the device platform you used). We will confirm once your data has been deleted. Deletion is typically completed within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your BrightMind account and profile, including preferences such as language, custom AI instructions, and your preferred task manager.
- Conversations and memory, including text chat history, voice session transcripts, and anything the assistant remembered about you.
- Uploaded files, including any images and documents you shared with the assistant.
- Connected integration tokens, the OAuth tokens we hold for services you linked, such as Todoist, TickTick, and Google Calendar. Deleting your BrightMind account removes our copy of these tokens. It does not delete anything inside those third-party services.
- Your subscription record, the status and purchase history we store for BrightMind Plus.
- Analytics identifiers, the anonymous identifiers used to link product usage events to your account.
What we may retain
For legal, security, and abuse-prevention reasons, some limited records may be kept for a short period after deletion, then removed:
- Limited system and security logs that help us detect and prevent abuse.
- Records we are required to keep to meet legal or financial obligations, such as proof of a purchase for tax or billing purposes.
- Voice session data held by our processors expires on its own retention schedule (for example, voice observability data is retained for up to 30 days and then deleted automatically).

Cancel your subscription separately
If you have an active BrightMind Plus subscription, it is billed by the App Store or Google Play, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel store billing. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription with the store on the same account you used to subscribe:
- Apple App Store: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
- Google Play: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
