Plan your day with Home

See what is happening today, move between days, and get help with the next thing without rebuilding your task list in another app.

What Home brings together

Home gives you one daily view across the tools you already use. Connected tasks, calendar events, habits, routines, and scheduled BrightMind calls can all appear in the same timeline. You do not need to copy them into BrightMind first.

Items with a time sit in the timeline. All-day tasks and anything without a time stay in the anytime area near the top, where they are easy to find without pretending they belong at a particular hour.

Move between days

Use the week row below the date to move around your plan:

  • Tap a date to open it.
  • Swipe across the week row to move to the previous or next week.
  • Swipe the main Home screen left or right to move one day at a time.
  • If you have wandered into another date, tap the Home tab again to return to today.

BrightMind loads the days around the one you are viewing, so nearby dates are usually ready as soon as you select them.

Open an item

Tap any item to open its details. Depending on what the connected app provides, you may see its schedule, notes, list or calendar, labels, recurrence, reminders, subtasks, attendees, location, and comments.

From the detail sheet you can:

  • Mark a supported task complete. The change is sent back to the connected task app, so both places stay in sync.
  • Tap Help me start to open a conversation draft that includes the useful details BrightMind already knows about the item.
  • Open the original item in Todoist, TickTick, or Google Calendar when a safe provider link is available.

Scheduled calls open through their own call experience, so they do not show the same Help me start action.

Use an open stretch of time

When BrightMind finds a useful open stretch between timed items, Home can show Add task in the gap. Tap it to open a prepared conversation draft with the start and end time filled in.

The draft is not sent automatically. Add what matters, change the wording, or close it. If the day is empty, Home gives you a simpler Add task action instead of filling the screen with empty hours.

Deal with overdue tasks without scanning every list

If BrightMind finds overdue items in a connected task app, a card appears near the top of Home. Tap Process overdue items to open a guided conversation for deciding what to finish, move, or drop.

See Process overdue items for the full flow.

Refresh Home

Pull down on Home to ask BrightMind for the latest version of the selected day. Home also refreshes after you return to the app. If one connected service is temporarily unavailable, BrightMind keeps the useful items it already has instead of making the whole day disappear.

If something is missing, try these in order:

  • Pull down to refresh.
  • Check that the correct day is selected.
  • Open Settings and confirm the task or calendar integration is still connected.
  • Open the source app and confirm the item has a date or time that belongs on this day.

Home does not replace your task app

Home is a calm view across your day, not another task database to maintain. Todoist, TickTick, Google Calendar, and other connected services remain the source of truth. Changes made through BrightMind are sent back to the service that owns the item.

Want to work through something in more detail? Open it with Help me start, then continue in Conversations.
